Lingyun earning her PhD in Molecular biology and Biochemistry from the University of California, Riverside. Later, she entered the Canary Center at Stanford to explore her passion in early cancer detection using in vitro blood biomarkers and protein engineering tools.

In addition to her primary research positions, she also worked as a laboratory manager for the CMB core of the Canary Center and later for Dr. Joseph Wu’s lab at the Stanford Cardiovascular Institute.
