SENIOR SCIENTIST
JAMES JAHNG
James is an accomplished scientist with a Ph.D. from the York University, Department of Biology, where he received exceptional training under the guidance of Professor Gary Sweeney. His expertise lies in cell/molecular biology, metabolism research.
During his postdoctoral tenure at Stanford University, Dr Jahng excelled under the mentorship of Dr. Joseph Wu and expanded his research areas in Cardio-Oncology and Space Biology by focusing on the effects of ionizing radiation exposure on the cardiovascular system. He then joined the Stanford Cardiovascular Institute as an Instructor, where he continues to identify radioprotective countermeasures to mitigate myocardial mitochondrial cardiotoxicity.
